WC's Manga Colors General

I am working on more stuff, and just using 1 thread to update as a go. I rate my stuff one a 1-5 scale.

1. Very poor
2. Below Average
3. Average / Decent
4. Above Average
5. Perfect

Here's some of the first tries at manga coloring, around 2 years ago. These would both be a 1s

My stuff is at least a 3 now I think, not grand, but improvement.. I am still working on shadows, and how to increase the overall appearance quality though, so not the final stop.

Hey! I actually like ur recent ones especially the scene with capt hikifune! I think the colors are awesome with her and I honestly haven't much bragging rights but I think ur work is well beyond an one.....although I would put u at an four

Thanks for the compliment. My stuff isn't great. But hopefully, it will be before I die.

There's something called "cell-shading" I need to learn. But I wouldn't know where to start on the other stuff.

Both colored manga pages, but look like screenshots from the actual anime.

Once I have, I can redo my work, and make it look better. I post my stuff on DA, but it hardly gets any favorites or comments. So, there's a sign it still sucks.

No, it only means that people haven't noticed you. I don't get much activity either but I wouldn't say my work is sh*t. Are you submitting your works to Groups? That's one of ways to get recognition.

About the colorings themselves, I like the last 2 Ginjou ones, pretty awesome. I'm rather soft/mixed shading person but I can tell you a thing or two if you need help with something.

I submit to groups, which is even sadder that my favorites and comments are so few.

There's cel shading, and plus you have to do things with layers, which gets confusing. I need a very detailed tutorial for PSE, then I could work my *** off.

I find some tutorials, but none for PSE.
