TYBW EPISODE 25/26: The Master/Black

Thank you for the translations again, Kazurika!

I just think that "The Cage of Life" originates from a womb. Hikifune kind of created life inside her and gave birth to it.

******

I think it is logical that Uryu freed himself and that this act also freed everybody else who was defeated by Shutara's Bankai. My guess is, Uryu's Antithesis will reverse it, causing a domino effect. He is an anomaly in the flow of time.

I watched the end piece again. This Quincy star was imprinted on Uryu's eyes. I wonder if the robe, if the hands holding this star and the essence flowing into Uryu belong to Shutara. And at the end we saw the Soul King in colour. It very much looks like a destination and I am seeing more clearly now, this was indeed Uryu's destination.

I wonder, what did Uryu read in Soken's journal that prompted him to join Yhwach and join his mission to kill the Soul King? It seems the anime will finally give us more answers about Uryu's motivations and his background.

And hopefully, we will be able to see his Vollstaendig! He has one after all.
You‘re welcome, B. Haddrell! It was a pleasure to translate everything. I wonder why there weren‘t any key cards for episode 26?

I thought Uryu joined to avenge his mother’s death by killing Yhwach?

This is a possibility but not proven. Also, I would be very disappointed if Uryu was driven by revenge again after the senseless and self destructive attempted revenge against Mayuri. I hope Uryu learned his lesson but it is admittedly a hope. I don't know for sure.

I don't think Uryu would become a Stern Ritter, participate in fighting against the Shinigami and target the Soul King for avenging his mother. There is something else behind this.

This was a personal project of mine that I thought I would share with the fandom. I had always wished Ichibei vs Yhwach battle to be in black and white. So, I edited and enhanced the fight to cater to my personal taste. I also added the OSTs where they were not present before. This is a continuous fight of 15 minutes. Enjoy it uninterrupted with the added OSTs:

Here's my drive's link to watch:

If the next cour's first episode would not contain Ichibei vs Yhwach to be more than 5 minutes (extended), then I would be extremely disappointed. I still have some hope but if it does not happen, then I would consider it a poor direction from Murata because then they would not have to blame time for that.

Questions I have from these last two episodes.

1. Who is Adnyeus. His coffin was named in the Auswahlen spell.
2. What is Shutara's shikai? Is it the artificial arms that make her appear spider like or is it the needles.
3. Does Shutara have hands?
4. Did the Royal Guards always have 5 members. When Hikifune was promoted, did she replace a "retired" member.

1. Some speculate it's Soul King's name.
2. What if it's both?
3. I would assume she does just always keeps them underneath the cloth
4. I made a thread around it:

I honestly think it's just supposed to be Adoneus (a variable name of Adonis)
Eus is a common God and ancient hero name:
Zeus
Arceus
Orpheus
Prometheus

Why the Soul King cannot follow and be named Adoneus?

Was there ever another non-Bleach character name used for a technique (like Kido Spell) etc?

Not saying he can't, just that it could be Adoneus simply because of the resurrection motif.

Who could ever forget good old Joe the Revenger?

Well, I’m sure I’m not the only one who noticed, but Uryu never said his line from the trailer. I guess it was just for hype’s sake.

We also didn't see the stand off between Ichigo and Uryu that was shown at the end of the start up. I am sure this has just been postponed to season 3.
