27) What would be your character's (Characters') ideal love interest?

Sayuri
Owing to severe issues around a crippling lack of self confidence, being unable to trust others and fear of abandonment... she'll probably be unable to 'love' someone. As it is, she doesn't recognise anyone as a 'friend'.

Anyone wishing to try making friends with her would need to be gentle, extremely patient, and recognise her need for isolation. They'd also need to be sincere and honest.


Saku
A cheerful, humorous person who makes him laugh constantly. Who shares his passion for candy and in making the world a better place. He's not fussy about looks or background, considering them unimportant for his life-partner. Instead he places more importance on choosing someone down-to-earth yet with a positive outlook on life, to match his own personality.


Nyarle
Someone beautiful in appearance, physically and mentally strong, able to keep her interested while providing a challenge. Who appreciates fine art and history. Someone who indulges her but, crucially, is not submissive - she'll soon treat them like a servant instead of an equal. Male or female - she doesn't mind either as long as the right partner comes along.


Alex
Doesn't want anyone with fancy-pants upbringing or manners, she considers it fake. A suitable match would be someone strong-willed, well-spoken, healthy and fit, with a honest 'do-it-yourself' attitude. Who doesn't attempt to change who she is now or tries to control her future. Appearance doesn't matter, though Alex would prefer if her partner was taller than her and also a Quincy.

If your characters went on a holiday - which five items would they bring along for certain? - Ken-chan

-Kaoru: Kimono, hairpin, a bag (empty so he can fill it with stuff later), soul-pager, and his zanpakutou.

-Hijiri: A sun hat, a rain coat, a sewing kit, a folding chair, and his medical supply bag (in case someone is injured and he needs to help them).

-Flare: Camera, sketch pad and pencils, fishing pole, butterfly net, and his zanpakutou.

-Nathaniel: His favorite monster book, a tin of imported tea, a first aid kit, his sword, and...uh...money I suppose.

-Rem: Rem doesn't exactly care much for possessions...but I know he'd take his zanpakutou with him no matter where he was going...

-Chrest: His zanpakutou, his golden necklace, a camera, an empty bag, and snack foods.



What is your character’s current hobby? - Unicorn

Kaoru: He doesn't have a constant hobby. He likes to sit outside and relax, or read, or bake, and lately he's taken to dabbling in various types of sake, so I suppose it could be considered drinking, though he is by no means an alcoholic.

-Hijiri: Chores. Even when there's none to be done, he busies himself with sewing something or mending things.

-Flare: Training, spending time with his brother...not exactly hobbies. But they fill his time.

-Nathaniel: He reads. And hunts monsters on the side.

-Rem: Rem doesn't really have a hobby, or at least not one that can be mentioned in polite company. He spends some of his time just sitting and thinking, thinking, just thinking until he becomes so bored that he falls asleep.

-Chrest: He likes to spend spare time drinking with Nyarle and talking with her.



What would be your character's (Characters') ideal love interest? - Alamerona

-Kaoru: He's got Crimson. I guess it would then be considered the strong, violent, hot-tempered type, but who have kind hearts on the inside and are actually quite soft on certain individuals whom they like. But I think Kaoru's most important requirement would be to have someone who accepts him.

-Hijiri: He isn't telling who, but he does have someone he admires. He likes people who are naturally kind, who are strong and courageous, and who strive to help others rather than harm them. As a healer, he would most certainly have a problem with anyone who was violent or abusive (mentally, physically, and emotionally). He would need someone who can also force him to take a break and not work himself right into the ground.

-Flare: I suppose Flare doesn't really have an ideal type. He's fallen for the strong, determined Hitomi, and for the strong, determined Shadrin, as well as others. He wouldn't even mind having someone who behaved like his brother; strong, a quick temper, etc. I suppose he would just want someone who was capable of accepting him and giving him some sort of direction in his life. So...perhaps...strong, determined, and knows what they want?

-Nathaniel: To be honest, he seems to be falling for Alex, who doesn't take any crap from anyone and who doesn't have a problem with ordering him around, but who still treats him as a friend despite her sharp attitude. So, I guess one could say he wants someone who orders him around? His better half?

-Rem: I honestly have no idea where to start with Rem. His ability and willingness to form emotional connections with people are usually trapped inside a box in his mind, and he doesn't really give much thought to "having a love interest." However, he does give some attraction to physical appearances, and if he doesn't find himself hating the person's guts after two minutes of knowing them, then he usually doesn't care too much about hanging around them. But it's very rare for him to actually "want" to go and find someone and savor their company. He would definitely need someone who can handle him and accept him for all that he is and all that he does.

-Chrest: Someone strong, level-headed, intelligent, determined, with no hesitation to do what needs doing, and who would do anything for him because he would do anything for them in return. Idealy, he just wants someone who would treat him kindly.

What is your character's idea of a 'celebration'?

Sayuri: She'll treat herself to a relaxing bath, and perhaps a proper sit-down meal (in her office), before getting right back to work.

Saku: He'll create a candy sculpture of the holiday mascot (eg. Easter bunny, Halloween pumpkin) and distribute relevant-flavoured lollipops (eg. carrot, pumpkin) to whomever he encounters. Also will ensure his team will have a nice dinner.

Nyarle: A tasteful nightclub with plenty of alcohol and a dancefloor.

Alex: Lots of alcohol, a sleep-in, maybe a short vacation.

What is your character's (characters') idea of a 'celebration'? - Unicorn

Kaoru:
Kaoru prefers to have a small social gathering in his quarters in 11th, and sit around drinking expensive and delicious sake with his friends until everyone passes out. But before then, he just wants everyone to have fun and get a few laughs out of their drunken antics while also enjoying the taste of fine sake.

Flare:
Hmm...Flare hasn't really been to a celebration yet. But if he was going to have one, he'd probably do something akin to the Halloween costume party and just throw a big bash with lots of food and beverages and entertainment - such as wearing the costumes. (He'd be Hiccup and carry his toy Toothless around with him again.) We gotta get this kid to a party sometime.

Hijiri:
Hijiri enjoys...muffins? He likes it when Sayuri bakes apple muffins, and his idea of a celebration would be a small garden party, where there's muffins and he could just lounge in a nice big lawn chair and eat muffins and drink lemonade all day long...and not worry about work for a little while. (Fourth is overdue for their Beach vacation.)

Nathaniel:
I think he'd honestly throw a fantastic dinner party at Alex's diner (with Alex's permission) and cook up all this luxurious food and then just chill out with Alex and company, joking and laughing and chatting. Chances are he would probably also be serving some sort of fancy wine.

Rem:
Rem's not exactly one for parties or social affairs, but...he does enjoy a bit of quiet down-time with his Fraccion from time to time. Usually just sitting around his room, talking and relaxing, maybe trading around snacks.

Wow, I didn't do any of these when the thread was active before. There were too many questions and I felt intimidated. But hey, let's just hop in here.

If your character had a business / corporate namecard, how would it look like?

Kana: half black, half white, divided down the centre. Thick paper stock. Text is in some font like Copperplate Bold and reads Kana & Kaya Asakawa, probably with the contact details on the back. The ampersand straddles the division between black and white.

Anton: White card, faux suede texture. A pale metallic blue Quincy star embossed onto it. Likewise all text is metallic blue embossed. Text reads: "A. Saint-Sebastien esq. Exorcist." with cellphone number.

Huo Yao: A piece of lined paper torn from a notebook with his name and number scrawled indecipherably in red ballpoint pen.

Why haven't I seen this thread before?!? Well, nevermind I'll try to answer all relevant questions for Shiruga Juzen and Ryujuu Katinka.

1) What vehicle would your character own / drive? - Uni

Juzen
I feel Juzen would probably drive something pretty understated but still elegant and luxurious. Knowing him he would most definitely choose white leather seats and the very best quality and meticulously take care of them and keep the car properly clean and sparkly. I imagine he would drive something like a Lexus.

Katinka
She's always been pretty poor so she would probably drive an old, rusty sh**box like a Skoda before they became decent. It would be noisy, unreliable and not very fast.

2 What do your characters eat for breakfast on a normal day? - Kaoru

Juzen
He likes cereal for the morning as it's pretty easy to digest and it often takes time for him to wake up properly. But besides that he likes a varied diet including fruits and vegetables, and prefers that when he's feeling fresh.

Katinka
Katinka eats whatever she has available - and she can eat almost everything! Some mornings she will be too stressed to get a proper meal and thus eat twice the amount at lunch.

3) What is your character's favourite book? - Sera

Juzen
Juzen isn't one who would normally read fiction, instead he has a preference of history related literature which might give him more knowledge about Soul Society and why things work as they do.

Katinka
Katinka likes horror books and more precisely the ones where you would know that something hides behind the door but not what, and the protagonist sloowly reaches for the handle when suddenly...

4) What alcohol does your character favor? - Ken-chan

Juzen
Juzen could be tempted to drink all kinds of liquor, but classic sake is never a bad bid, though he rarely does it unless it's for some kind of social gathering. He can drink a fair amount of sake before he gets tipsy - and in fact probably more than most - which takes people a bit by surprise. But red wine is his bane, as he quickly gets extremely talkative and likes to teach people about all kinds of subjects when having finished the first glass of red wine. Don't offer him that, you could be held up for hours.

Katinka
Generally speaking she has been dealing with too many drunkards to really enjoy the idea of becoming inebriated herself, but the truth is that when she reaches for the bottle only the strongest of her shinigami allies are able to stop her again. She becomes very drunk but never really passes out, though her personality shifts from her usual quick witted and loyal self to being abrasive, burping and telling inappopriate jokes all night long. Whatever kind of liquor that gets her started it always ends up the same and usually she prefers simple but hard hitting drinks with a blend of whiskey, vodka or rum.

5) What sort of home would your character prefer? - Kaoru

Juzen
Juzen likes his home to be a small oasis of peace where he can charge his batteries after using up his share of friendly compliments during the day. That said his house isn't a major priority in his life, though he would favor the more modern and western style of furnishing such as table and chairs to the traditional Japanese way. He doesn't need a lot of space and in fact he would probably prefer it being pretty simple and manageable and perhaps even a bit secluded from other people and outside noise.

Katinka
Katinka dreams of large arabian palace style halls with opulent furnishings and servants and cooks to cater her every whim which contrasts her poor upbringing.

6) What would be your Character's favourite World of the Living TV show? - Ala

Juzen
I could see him being fascinated by the National Geographic shows with wild animals and things he has never seen before and totally indifferent about the different reality shows. Some real estate shows might have some kind of appeal to him though the Pawn Shop-series might infuriate him as being "unrealistic" and "not behaving like a real merchant".

Katinka
Katinka would love such shows as Paradise Hotel and watch with joy while she would be eating popcorn fully absorbed in the intrigues of the participants. But nobody would know, it would be her deepest secret. Oh yeah, and shows about funny cats and cute kittens would be a clear favorite too!

7) What would be your character's personal email address, if such a thing exists in the Soul Society? - Sera

Juzen
[email protected] (would probably be his work mail) [email protected] (would be his personal mail. And the bunnies? Well, read the threads with Huo Yao and Juzen )

Katinka
[email protected] - at least she believes that herself...

8) If you have to describe your character(s) with one adjective - what would it be? - Ken-chan

Juzen
Friendly. To all and everyone not directly seeking to harm him and his friends.

Katinka
Hopeful. Her problems arise from the fact that she constantly seeks something better than her current situation.

9) What is your character's (characters') favorite Candy? - Kaoru

Juzen
Vanilla icecream. Pretty straight forward and everybody likes it. Well, at least nobody hates it!

Katinka
It used to be chocolate and chocolate ice, but due to a recent experience she has taken up an unhealthy addiction to candyfloss.

10) What animal would your character be? [non-fantasy] - Ken-chan

Juzen
A golden retriever. Overly friendly and kind to you but will defend you with its life if necessary.

Katinka
A black cat. Constantly crossing her own path bringing herself plenty of bad luck. Oh yeah, and because of claws for enemy shredding purposes.

11) What genre or series of Video Games are your characters likely to play? - Kaoru

Juzen
Juzen playing video games? Well, that wouldn't last long, though something simple and slow paced would suit him better. Perhaps Roller Coaster Tycoon would fit him and enable him to let out some pent up anger and steam.

Katinka
The Sims. Oh the possibilities of both cruelty and feeling like a god!

12) Where is your character's favorite spot to hang out? - Ken-chan

Juzen
Beneath a tree on a warm summer day with his hands behind his head!

Katinka
Hang out? Katinka doesn't hang out of her own free will, she's constantly active having to achieve a better future! But alright, if pressed to tell the truth she occasionally likes to cuddle under the blankets in a comfy spot in the corner and read a book.

13) Where would your character(s) prefer to go on Vacation? - Kaoru

Juzen
Juzen would want to go to Greece or Italy to see the old buildings and learn more about the history of those countries.

Katinka
Some place with beautiful buildings she could dream about living in. The palaces in Istanbul, the castles in Bavaria or the Taj Mahal in India would all be very high on her list.

14) What is your character's most treasured possession? - Sera

Juzen
His zanpaktou. His zanpaktou is the tool for him to do what he felt he was born to do. Nothing else comes close. Well... his large collection of shampoo, oils and balsam to keep his hair neat probably comes second though.

Katinka
Even though her zanpaktou is pretty treasured, she doesn't feel it's irreplaceable on often it feels unnecessary with all the time she spends with down to earth tasks inside Seireitei. Her real most prized possession is an old and worn books her grandfather gave her when she was only 5 years old. He was a shinigami and immediately after died in action. She was told not to look in it but to keep it safe "for later", and as this books represents all the trust her grandfather showed her, she keeps it and is determined to someday open and explore what the book contains.

15) If your characters could change one thing about them - what would it be? - Ken-chan

Juzen
Juzen would secretly want a large, scruffy and unwieldy barbarian style full beard. This would enable him to look ultra badass and save him hours everyday in the bathroom doing his hair. But no-one must know this, and those who will figure out will soon learn what killed the cat...

Katinka
Probably her ears which are ever so slightly flappy. The more she stares at them in the mirror the more flappy they seem to become until she thinks she resembles a mouse and head butts the mirror in anger.

16) What is your character's (characters') favorite flavor of potato chip? - Kaoru

Juzen
Plain. Everybody loves plain! Well, at least nobody hates it and will judge him if he offers them the plain version.

Katinka
Tomato flavor and slightly spicy versions are much appreciated.

17) What mangas would your your characters read? - Ken-chan

Juzen
He would read Cromartie High and laugh out loud of the silly situations that arise - and hide the manga and deny everything when people knocks on the door asking why he was laughing.

Katinka
She would secretly be into manga with easily digestible love story often with a submissive female protagonist and one or two males trying to get her.

18) What sort of clothing would your character(s) wear, if they were not required to wear their Shihakushou or Arrancar Uniforms? - Kaoru

Juzen
Juzen would prefer elegant attire like a suit and a tie, and the suit would most likely be white to match his hair with a black shirt and red tie.

Katinka
At home she would wear something like a pair of comfortable grey sweat pants along with a lose, white T-shirt. A hoody and a pair of pink snickers would serve her well outside, though sometimes at parties she will be seen in an elegant cocktail dress with high heels and a slight uncomfortable blush to her cheeks. She feels most comfortable in work outfit, which would be some kind of security or police uniform, which will be absolute spotless.

19) What's your character's sexual orientation? - Ken-chan

Juzen
Juzen is heterosexual for all he knows.

Katinka
She is definitely heterosexual and even though she is very open minded, there's no doubt in her mind where her interest lies.

20) What is your character(s) hobby in the Living World? (No powers or knowledge of SS or HM.) - Crimson

Juzen
Besides trying to befriend every other guy and girl he comes by? Well, he probably wouldn't really have a hobby that didn't involve his work and friends, though a healthy interest and history and and knowledge in general would probably be a past time he'd want to invest some amount of energy into.

Katinka
She is oddly attracted to collecting certain things. This could be a rocks, stamps or cola caps and owning "a complete collection" satisfies her greatly.

21) Have your characters ever considered marriage as a possibility in their life? (Shingen and Sayuri are exempt from this question. ) - Kaoru

Juzen
Juzen has had a couple of girls in his life and somewhere in the back of his mind he knows it as a possibility, though it would have to wait until he resolves his "family affairs".

Katinka
She might... Asked directly she would most likely divert the topic or just plainly dismiss it. But she does wish for some man to come by and swoop her off her feet. Preferably to a mighty palace of some kind, and if he isn't rich he ha damn well better have to look good!

22) What has been the primary driving force behind your character? What has pushed them to become strong, or to choose a particular career (e.g. Shinigami)? - Sera

Juzen
Ambition. Even though Shiruga Juzen as a friendly character, he still has a great amount of personal ambition which he inherits from his biological father. But the genes from his biological mother tells him to be caring along the way - which often brings internal strife. Juzen doesn't think much about it but does what needs to be done, though somehow he knows he needs power to do what he needs to do - whatever that turns out to be in the end.

Katinka
A deep felt wish to better herself and escape her Rukongai past fills her and drives her. Unfortunately she seems to carry many of her habits over to her shinigami life causing her to be stuck with menial tasks which doesn't carry her towards her real goals. But she tries!

23) What pet would your character keep? - Uni

Juzen
Ideally he would want a dog which mirrored his own overly friendly attitude, but with Juzen's luck he would be tempted by a cute little kitten and end up stuck with a grumpy cat who would ignore Juzen when he wanted its attention and start lacerating his bunny slippers whenever Juzen needs peace.

Katinka
A canary. The little falppy thing is kinda' cute and doesn't require much effort to keep.

24) What is your character's favorite song? – Kaoru

Juzen
"Always Look At The Bright Side Of Life". Also he likes relaxing world music and "The Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel also appeals to his emotional side.

Katinka
She doesn't have a particular favorite song but likes most popular music with an up beat sound that can keep her active.

25) What is your characters least favourite or most despised food or food ingredient? – Sera

Juzen
Juzen really isn't picky, but he has had some bad experiences with chili and pepper which makes him highly sceptical about anything which is said to be spicy.

Katinka
She really isn't picky and eats almost everything, and when there's something she doesn't like, she might eat it anyway. It's a habit from her years in Rukongai and she learned to eat whatever she could get. She isn't a fan of pomegranates though and in general overly bitter and sour things.

26) If your characters went on a holiday - which five items would they bring along for certain? – Ken-chan

Juzen
1. His zanpaktou, because hollow are everywhere.
2. A spare shihakusho as you wouldn't want to be mistaken for a simple caveman or Rukongai thug.
3. His assortment of shampoo, oils and balsam for his hair, same reason as before.
4. A comb.
5. His bunny slippers.

Katinka
1. She'd bring a good book for reading, probably a horror
2. Blankets to tug into
3. Sun glasses (she's going somewhere warm and sunny that's for sure!)
4. A map and general information of the place she's going
5. A roomy backpack to store every souvenir she's buying

27) What is your character’s current hobby? - Uni

Juzen
He likes to have long, meaningful talks with his biological father... No. Jokes aside Juzen doesn't have the time for hobbies right now as work takes up too much time. Well, trying out new insanely expensive hair products may be the exception though.

Katinka
She likes to read and work out. Running and going through obstacle courses are her favorites and keeps her fit.

28) What would be your character's (Characters') ideal love interest? - Ala

Juzen
Somehow I feel like he won't be the one to choose her as she will choose him...

Katinka
The prince on the white horse followed by several other horses carrying bags of gold heading towards their new gigantic castle made by marble. In the end this probably wouldn't satisfy her for long in her real love interest would be very different and probably has a background resembling her own.

29) What is your character's idea of a 'celebration'? - Uni

Juzen
Positive social relations with (preferably a lot of) friends and having a bit to drink. In this way he isn't too different of most other.

Katinka
The rush of overcoming her own limits. This could be beating her own record on the obstacle track or winning against a larger opponent in kendo practice.

30) If your character had a business / corporate namecard, how would it look like? - Uni

Juzen
It would be blue and white with a the Shiruga crest in the top corner and all the relevant information being put in their respective places and a professional overall look to it. Would say "7th seat, Shiruga Juzen - Disposer of Hollows"

Katinka
Her business card would have kittens on it and when she was finished there wouldn't be room for anything else - and she would be highly satisfied.

Juzen
He would be named "Lord Bunniton" release angry monster bunnies at people much like in Monty Python. The carnage would all be for his pent up anger that he couldn't contain anymore.

Katinka
Katinka would be known as the Silver Princess and live in her castle of pure silver from where her many blindly obedient male servants would carry out her every word, bringing her even more obedient followers for her "perfect kingdom".

32) What kind of sport or organised physical workout would your character(s) participate in in the real world and on which level? - Zan

Juzen
Juzen would play sofisticated sports like tennis, golf, aikido and squash and probably try to allocate time for all of them. He would do them on a high gentleman level.

Katinka
She would probably push herself with marathons, triathlons and iron man challanges, not as much for glory and competition as for one upping her own previous record. She would invest a lot of time into this. A bit of judo and jujutsu would definitely also be part of the workout schedule.

33) What kind of person would your character(s) become should they become a parent and how would they raise the child(dren) in regards to morals? - Zan

Juzen
A great question! He would surely keep his overall friendliness but might also have to adapt and become more stern and strict when setting bounderies to avoid his childen becoming spoiled brats and rebelling against him in their teens.

Katinka
She would be stressed but work even harder to get it all done - especially if she ends up an alone mom. She would be fiercely protective of her children and love them to a point where she might have to work on her ability to let them be themselves and do their own thing.

31) What would your character(s) villain name and motivation be? (can be comedic) - Zan

Reihaii Hitomi: "Lilith the Unmaker, Vanguard of the End Times".

Having been repeatedly exposed to the corruption inherent within the Soul Society and the system is supported, Reihaii Hitomi came to realize that Tamiel was right. The world was broken. The Central Government, the nobility, even the Gotei Thirteen; all contributed to the cycle of poverty and inquity that plagued the Soul Society. No longer able to ignore how rotten the system had become, she resolved to join Tamiel in his quest to tear it all down and start afresh; to wash away the corruption in a tide of blood. Taking Tamiel's hand, she joined him in laying waste to the Kingdom of Wei before departing to Hueco Mundo.

Studying at the feet of Tamiel the Fallen, the full scope of Hitomi's buried potentail became clear. No longer restrained by weakling friends who forced her to walk when she could be running, or forced her to step aside from the path to power in order to help them on their own trivial pursuits, Hitomi grew in power even as her compassion for the world she had left behind withered. As Isharie the Seducer whispered in her ear, Reihaii Hitomi gradually slipped into oblivion.

In her place arose the Final Apocrypha: Lilith the Unmaker, Vanguard of the End Times.

And when she returned to the Soul Society, she brought with her a storm of darkness and death.




Shadrin Kain - Ahriman the Unloved


Unable to let go of his love for the young woman, Shadrin followed Hitomi into Hueco Mundo. Searching the deserts, by the time he found her she had already fallen into darkness. And he willingly fell with her. Forsaking all that he had known and loved in order to continue to stand beside her, Shadrin became the Eighth Apocrypha: Ahriman the Unloved. He would follow a half step behind his cold mistress, cutting down any who opposed her. Though to see him do so invoked such guilt and self loathing in Lilith the Unmaker that, though he remained by her side until the End of Days, she could never again bring herself to speak to or look upon him.

32) What kind of sport or organised physical workout would your character(s) participate in in the real world and on which level?

Hitomi - gymnastics, Olympic level

Shadrin - MMA or Boxing. Probably at a reasonably high level.

Yukimura - Professional Wrestling. Because of course he would.

Shingen - He would be a professional chess player.

Junshin - Junshin would dabble in a variety of sports and, though he would perform well, would never reach a world class level because [STRIKE]his author[/STRIKE] he would keep getting sidetracked and forget what he was meant to pursuing.

Suzume - Archery and horsemanship. The traditional martial arts of the samurai.

33) What kind of person would your character(s) become should they become a parent and how would they raise the child(dren) in regards to morals?

I think all of my characters would raise their children in a caring and conscientious manner. All of my characters have a pretty strong moral foundation, so they certainly wouldn't be raising any little dirt bags. Some might be a little standoffish, though; Shingen and Suzume would probably maintain a certain level of formality with their respective children, and care very deeply about their child's education. They would probably both plan out their child's formulative years in meticulous detail, invest in tutors to give their children an early advantage and raise children that would be well disciplined, contemplative and polite.

Yukimura would want to be his kid's best friend. He would gleefully invite his children on adventures into the Rukongai and encourage them to explore the world from a young age. Though I think he would dote on them more than a little, ultimately he would raise children that would be very tough, independent and unafraid of the world.

Junshin would probably have a hard time balancing being a parent with his responsibilities as Captain. He would probably rush home every time he had a spare minute to be with his family, but would likely be a "soft touch" as far as his children were concerned. I suspect he would have an extremely frazzled wife, because she would be left dealing with all of the trials and tribulations of home life and Junshin would be far too preoccupied trying to be the perfect husband and perfect dad whenever he was around to play and part in disciplining his children. Junshin's children would probably be quite spoiled, unless he had an extremely competent wife.

Shadrin would probably be quite similar to Yukimura, although he's considerably more mature. Although he certainly would take them on adventures into the Rukongai, he would also make sure to drop some wisdom on them every now and then. I think Shadrin's children would grow up very well adjusted. They'd not be afraid to venture in the world and they'd be comfortable in their own skin. They'd make likely candidates to be exemplary Shinigami.

Hitomi is entirely too broken to make a good parent. Between frequent bouts of self doubt and feeling of crippling guilt any time she isn't actively fighting the enemies of the Soul Society, I don't think her children would see her much. She'd probably spend most of her time away from home fighting. And when she did see her children she wouldn't have any idea how to act of what to say to them. She would love them deeply. She just wouldn't know how to show it.

Let's stretch the old writing muscles and try to answer some of these! Doing a couple of the guys I've used most recently, and Kimura because Kimura.

1) What vehicle would your character own/drive?
Hikaru: Whatever it is, it would need replacing/repairing fairly regularly due to his tendency to damage his belongings. In terms of preference, he'd probably go for something flashy and immature like a sports car... which would get expensive to keep replacing.
Kamui: He does actually drive a vehicle- a modified tour bus/trailer type deal that he and his team live in.
Kimura: A practical and dependable people-carrier.

2) What would they eat for breakfast on a normal day?
Hikaru: Raspberry jelly. Or whatever happens to be in the fridge.
Kamui: A cooked breakfast if he has time, cereal if not.
Kimura: Rice or toast.

3) Favourite book?
Hikaru: Has never enjoyed having to read anything, and is in fact just barely literate.
Kamui: Has only read it once, but currently it's Gulliver's Travels.
Kimura: Finds it difficult to choose. It would likely be something outside my knowledge- something old-fashioned and Japanese with lots of complicated vocabulary...

4) Favourite alcoholic beverage?
Hikaru: Has recently acquired a taste for fruity wines- the sharper the taste, the better.
Kamui: Doesn't drink. (Can't drink and drive!)
Kimura: Will drink with friends, tending to favour traditional sakes or certain beers.

5) Preferred home?
Hikaru: Spartan. He doesn't settle well into comfortable spaces, and tends to break things, so he keeps his living quarters as simple as possible.
Kamui: Likes modern conviniences, but doesn't require much space- he likes it cosy.
Kimura: Prefers a modest home as well, but unlike Hikaru, prizes storage space and little personal touches.

6) Favourite Living World TV Show?
Hikaru: Live sports (wouldn't really engage with anything that has a plotline)
Kamui: Doesn't actually watch much racing or tokusatsu, but follows crime dramas studiously.

Hikaru: Actually kind of wants to go to the Alps, since he thinks the snow looks fun.
Kamui: Somewhere quiet in Europe.

Hikaru: A small locket from Kaoru- one of the few things he's been able to avoid breaking, representing one of his few genuine friendships.

Hikaru: None of the things he should change, that's for sure- he'd probably just want extra arms...
Kamui: To be more assertive.
Kimura: I feel like saying 'remove the inner Hollow' is probably a cop-out. Kimura is always looking for opportunities to learn, and to make himself more efficient.

16) Favourite flavour of potato chip?
They're called 'crisps', you silly cowboys.
Hikaru: Salt and vinegar.
Kamui: Hot and spicy.
Kimura: Smokey bacon.

Hikaru: Manga wouldn't be exempt from Hikaru not enjoying reading. He might enjoy the artwork of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, though.
Kamui: Cyborg 009.

Hikaru: Ripped jeans, close-fitting shirts and jackets.
Kamui: Likes to wear a short red jacket, usually a t-shirt with some nonsense Engrish slogans, chunky trainers and jeans.

Hikaru: Bisexual.
Kamui: Probably heterosexual.

Hikaru: Assuming he doesn't just straight-up become a serial killer, probably hiking.

Hikaru: Doesn't want to.
Kamui: Has considered it, but hasn't met anyone yet who he'd want to marry.

Hikaru: His formative years were defined exclusively by strength and killing, leaving him pretty stunted socially and unable to really break out of this mindset. Therefore, he seeks to find and kill progressively stronger opponents, or die in the attempt.
Kamui: He wants to become a reliable person, and build bonds with others.
Kimura: Honestly just wants a quiet life at this point, but also wants to learn as much as he can and provide for his family.

23) What pet would they keep?
Hikaru: Would not be a good caretaker for any dependent animal, so would get along best with something fairly independent like a cat.
Kamui: Something small and cute, like a parakeet.
Kimura: A large and friendly dog. (Anything but an insect or arachnid, please...)

Hikaru: I'm going to cop out and just do genres; Hikaru would be unironically into some sort of super-edgy metal.
Kamui: Somebody once bought him Eddie Stobart's Greatest Trucking Songs as a joke once. It's been at least two years. He's still listening to it.
Kimura: He's a classical man. Aside from that, any sort of easy listening that doesn't have lyrics to distract his train of thought.

25) Least favourite food?
Hikaru: Cucumbers, squashes, or green beans.
Kamui: Peppers.
Kimura: I've probably said before, but I don't remember, so I'm just going to say he doesn't really like eggs.

26) What five items would they bring on holiday?
Hikaru: NO MAPS. NO COMPASS. NO SUPPLIES. WE HIKE IN THE ALPS AND WE DIE LIKE MEN.
Kamui: A camera, a phrasebook, a pair of the kind of shorts you'd only ever wear on holiday, a compass he'll pack because it seems like a good idea but wind up never using, and someone who knows what they're doing.
Kimura: A good book, sensible clothes for different weather, sunscreen, hamper with good picnic foods, some fun flotation devices.

27) Current hobby?
Hikaru: Serial killer
Kamui: Tuning and maintaining his vehicle.
Kimura: Currently trying to write a book (but not really making much progress).

Hikaru: Someone who could probably kill him.
Kamui: Someone assertive.

Hikaru: Anything that causes him to wake up mid-afternoon the day after inside a bush with no memory of how he got there or whose blood that is.
Kamui: Rarely celebrates; if he does, it's usually just giving himself some time to relax.

Hikaru: A plain, official 8th Division business card. Hikaru has never seen his business cards and is unaware they exist. A set are kept in a back-office somewhere as a formality.
Kamui: Charmingly amateurish cards that he's clearly just made himself despite having no background in graphic design.
Kimura: Actually has company business cards that he makes use of. They're white with a grey-silver border of geometric patterns, with neat, evenly-spaced lettering.

31) What would their villain name and motivation be?
Hikaru: The TV documentaries for years afterwards would refer to him as the Raspberry Ripper, and would be re-aired every time they found a new body.
Kamui: Full Black. It's the evil palette swap of his costume they quickly made for the crossover movie with the next sentai.
Kimura: The Punctuator. He stalks classrooms and offices where he's least expected, correcting your spelling and grammar mistakes... permanently.

32) What sport/physical activity would they participate in?
Hikaru: Fighting to the death counts as physical activity, which Hikaru will do at a professional level. Getting lost in the woods also counts, which he is a complete amateur at but very enthusiastic.
Kamui: Would attempt to get into team sports like football or basketball, but only at a local, casual level.
Kimura: Not a natural sportsman, but might enjoy something that works his arms, like cricket or tennis.

33) What would they be like as parents, and what morals would they raise their kids with?
Hikaru: An entirely irresponsible parent who wouldn't do his children much good. He's just not emotionally mature or stable enough to deal with the responsibility, and would, at best, leave it to the other parent.
Kamui: Would constantly worry about if he's responsible enough, but actually has a fairly good moral compass that he'd pass on to any offspring.
Kimura: A caring sort who wants to bring his kids up happy. A pretty sensible parent, if unadventurous.

Since I figured there's little information about Luciano Mezzanotte/Feles since the forum reset, I figured I can answer to the best of my ability. Hopefully whoever got me as their Secret Santa pal finds this helpful!

1) What vehicle would your character own/drive?

Well, Luciano is incredibly materialistic, so it's to be expected he has a place where he stores all sorts of vehicles, be them vintage or newer models, legally or illegally acquired. He admires sports cars such as Ferrari, due to their speed.

2) What would they eat for breakfast on a normal day?

He likes sleeping a lot so he at times skips breakfast altogether, although he basically eats anything within reach.

3) Favourite book?

Despite having a library chock full of books in his mansion, he usually stops reading halfway through the book. This might be due to him quickly growing bored of pretty much anything, only seeming to live for his 'job' apparently. He did finish a few books, namely anything by the Marquis de Sade.

4) Favourite alcoholic beverage?

Has his own wine cellar and loves drinking wine as he's resting in his mansion's library. A side-effect of his powers is that he can't get inebriated or get alcohol poisoning.

5) Preferred home?

Lives in a huge mansion already. This is his preferred home, living in luxury along with all of the items he's collected throughout the years.

6) Favourite Living World TV Show?

Same as with the books, he barely has enough interest in a TV show to watch anything completely.

Detached.

He likes bars and clubs, although his mansion is large enough for him to host meetings.

He doesn't like traveling, so he'd just stay home taking a nap.

This question is tricky, he doesn't feel attached to any material possession despite having loads and loads of treasure stashed in different parts of the world. If there is something he considers his most "prized" possession, it would be his signature ability, curiously enough.

He's happy as he is, and doesn't give much thought about changing himself.

Same as with books, it's rare for him to finish a manga series. One-shots might do though.

He's a human and wears no uniform, so the result's the same: he likes dressing sharply, preferring to wear a suit and a tie most of the time.

He's a Living World denizen already, so not much change here: stealing, slaughtering, kidnapping targeted individuals, taking naps, more slaughtering.

Getting as many rare items as he can, all while participating in missions that have him slaughtering powerful targets. He's okay with either.

He doesn't listen to music much, though his favorite genre would be either ambient music or classical.

When asked such a question, his answer might be along the lines of "I don't know or care". He doesn't bring much with him when abroad on missions.

Serial killer, much like Hikaru Sato (read the ACRONYM THREAD /spam). He actually works as a thief/assassin, so he likes killing and stealing.

He doesn't seem to love anyone as much as he likes the pleasure of having sex with another person.

Copious amounts of alcohol and sharing a toast with his associates.

A black card with red fonts, he might issue them for time to time to get some 'clients'.

Some actually know him as the "Pestilence Ripper" due to his trademark slashing claws and poison/toxic abilities. Motivation remains the same: earn money and items.

Despite being one of the (if not the) fastest humans in the RP, one would think it would be something involving running, but he likes participating in leisurely activities like playing pool in bars.

Might train them to get into the business, by helping them build up poison resistance and submitting them to grueling training.
