Hey all, I've become more of a lurker than a poster thanks to school, but when I get the free time, I love to do Bleach fanart and other anime fanarts. I'm artsygirl2011 on dA, but here's a few of my newest Bleach works to start off this thread. My favorite character is Muramasa, you can tell . I'd be happy to do any requests/commissions!


This is my newest, for my fanfic Never Go Back. I conjured this up this weekend, finally had time to do some art after sitting three midterms back to back last week. I will get to the newest chapter in my fanfic, Never Go Back, and I just needed some inspiration to get me through. Summary: What if it wasn’t too late to start a new life? A brand new bond between shinigami and zanpaktou is born amidst a new threat against Soul Society. Wow, your artwork is simply amazing! There's so much detail, especially in the hair and clothes, and they could almost pass for real people. This really is some of the best Bleach fan art I have ever seen. Do you mind if I ask if you drew the Muramasa in your signature too?

Hey, I'm sorry I've been away mostly, busy last month! Thank you so much, I really appreciate your wonderful comments, I try hard! I'm still learning Photoshop, one of my favorite artists is sakimichan, her art is so inspirational. Yes, I forgot to say I also did my signature pic, Muramasa is my favorite character in Bleach I think, even though he's filler lol.

You're welcome! I'll try to look that artist up sometime since I always appreciate looking at wonderful artwork. Speaking of which, I think your Muramasa painting is the best one you have, and that's saying a lot! His musculature and feathering look incredibly realistic. He almost looks like a digitally enhanced photograph. I'd say you're well on your way to mastering photoshop already. Your Ulquiorra painting also turned out really nice and I like the start to your Ichigo and Rukia drawing. I can't wait to see that one finished too! You can tell from the sketch that Rukia is going to have a much more detailed outfit when it's finished.

Hey there, thanks so much again I'm verrry meticulous when it comes to my photoshop, I work on a 220 ppi canvas so I can get all the intricacies I need. This is why I take so long to respond as well

Here's the progress I have going on the Ichigo x Rukia pic:



I'm working on the textures, lighting, Rukia's translucent dress, and then the background again. Here's the model reference I used:



I'll update the final piece hopefully before the Bleach manga ends

Very nice! This is looking much more realistic and it's great to see your progress like this. I love the musculature on Ichigo's back and the lighting effects you have so far.
